Townships Tea Festival

Second edition - June 25 and 26, 2022

Four venues present a special program around the English Tea tradition on June 25 and 26, 2022.

Reservations are required for most activities.


Salon de thé Scott - Scotstown

The activities will be held on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 from noon to 6 p.m.

Program:
Tasting and discovery activity; Discussions on the history of tea, the role of the Scots, and the health virtues of tea; Offer of Scottish food and alcoholic beverages; Music.

You will be welcomed by the host, dressed in Scottish attire; you are free to arrive in your own Scottish outfit. A variety of tea-related discussions will take place each day. Scottish food and drink will be on offer. A bagpiper will be livening up the afternoons on-site in addition to the other activities to discover.

Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre

The activities will take place on Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Program: Tasting and discovery activity

Uplands awaits you for a delicious tasting activity! Scones and beverages will be offered to anyone in period costume or wearing a hat! Everyone is welcome (while supplies last). Explanations regarding the English tea tradition in the Townships will complement the activity.

 


Colby-Curtis Museum

The activities will take place on Saturday, June 25 at 2 p.m.

Program : Tasting activity

English Tea service. With your tea, enjoy delicious scones, squares and cakes served with jams and devonshire cream. What a way to celebrate the beginning of summer!
Price: 12$ per person, tx. included. (18$ per person with the Museum Visit).

Beaulne Museum

The activities will take place on Saturday, June 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Program: Tasting activity

The Beaulne Museum awaits you for a Matcha tea tasting. There will also be a tasting of small Matcha tea pastries, such as a Matcha and raspberry cake and Matcha butter and seed crisps. The tastings will include live explanations related to Matcha tea.
